TESTIMONIAL: Elodie Naveau – Université de Liège
“I particularly appreciate to work with Denk IP thanks to their personalized approach. For each file I know who is the contact person, also for administrative questions. Moreover, all communications received are well-structured. In one glance, I know if instructions are required, what is the deadline and which is the next step of the procedure. This is really useful when managing a large patent portfolio. I receive an excellent intellectual service such as strategic advices adapted to each case, but also an excellent administrative follow-up. All of this results in a gain of time for our Patent Department.”
IN THE NEWS: Founding of Belgian Institute for patent attorneys
The 30th September 2021, the Belgian Institute for patent attorneys was founded. This is part of the overtaking maneuver Belgium is doing because it was lagging behind on the protection of ‘patent attorney’. This means that an applicant always had to check the Belgian register to be sure his representative was officialy accepted as an attorney.
TESTIMONIAL: An and Jessy from Niko.
“We work already quite some time with DenK iP and we can always be sure of an efficient, friendly and client oriented service through open an honest communication.
They are really concerned about their client’s business. We can always contact them to provide us with a quick advice or for support in making any decision related to IP protection.
The DenK iP people are highly professional and dedicated and have an extensive knowledge across different IP domains. We rely on them for filing our patent applications and now and then for drafting one of our patent applications.”
Did you know..?
Did you know not all inventions are patentable?
The invention should solve a technical problem and should be defined in terms of technical features. However, the word “technical” is not defined, as it is unpredictable what an invention may possibly contain in the future. Only what is not technical can be defined and is thus excluded from patentability.
